How to Customize a Deceased Record's Memorial Page

You can now customize a deceased memorial page directly through webCemeteries management. To update the Logo for your Remember My Journey page, check out this article: How to Update the Logo for your Memorial Page

Step 1

Log in to webCemeteries Management.

Step 2

Navigate to the Deceased Record. 

Step 3

At the top of the Deceased profile page. Click on the "...More" button to expand the menu, and select "Customize Memorial".

Step 4

Here, you have various options to be able to edit the memorial page for this specific Decedent. 

  • Disable/Enable Memory Submissions

This will prevent anyone from being able to submit memories for this decedent.

 

  • Upload/Delete Portrait

To upload an image for the Memorial, simply select the current default portrait. A window will pop up to upload an image from your desktop. To delete the Portrait, simply select "Delete Portrait" on the left side.

 

  • Change The Theme

These themes are pre-loaded and cannot be customized by users. However, we do have many options to choose from.

 

  • Select a Layout

You can also change the Layout of the Memorial page itself. These are also pre-loaded and cannot be customized further. Select one by clicking on the layout itself. It will get Highlighted in Orange.

 

  • Edit The Portrait Cropping

Simply select the squared X on the image to adjust the cropping. Whatever is WITHIN the the square is what will show in the memorial.

  • Memorial Text

This will replace the Obituary you have written in the Deceased record page.

  • Upload a Photo Album

Use this to upload a Photo Album for the decedent without having to share a memory like a customer. Learn more about this feature in this article: Adding Photos to a Deceased Record's Memorial Page

  • In Lieu Of

This allows you to configure info about where the family would like donations sent in lieu of flowers. If provided, these show up in different spots depending on which layout you select.

 

  • Save and View The Memorial

When you are done making Changes, select the orange "Floppy Disc Button" to save your edits.

And then select "View Memorial" to view your changes.
