If you would like add to the Tax status of your inventory, see this article: [Editing an Inventory Category's Tax Status](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hc/en-us/articles/17256969218843-editing-an-inventory-category-s-tax-status?hsLang=en)* ### Step 1  Log in to [webCemeteries Management](https://management.webcemeteries.com/). ### Step 2 If you are a cemetery administrator, you will be able to access these settings. Each field is explained below. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-20-2026-08-37-01-4832-PM.png?width=2732&height=753&name=image-png-Mar-20-2026-08-37-01-4832-PM.png) **Name:** The name of your Merchandise or Service item. **SKU:** Stock Keeping Unit number. **Price:** The cost of the item for the customer. **GL Code**: General Ledger Code. **Cost**: The cost of the item for the Cemetery. **At-Need/Pre-Need Commission Rate:** Commission amount for selling this item in an At-Need or Pre-Need contract. **At-Need/Pre-Need Commission Type: **Whether the commission is a Flat amount, or a Percentage of the item total. **Description:** describe the merchandise or service Toggle whether the item is "Taxable" "Refundable" or "Interest Free" using the buttons.  ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-07-2025-09-46-30-9936-PM.png?width=670&height=68&name=image-png-Mar-07-2025-09-46-30-9936-PM.png) Taxable = Determines if taxes will calculate for this item in a Contract based on the tax rate in your [Cemetery Settings.](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hc/en-us/articles/5817895076891-how-to-update-your-cemetery-settings?hsLang=en) ### **Edit an Item** If you ever need to edit the item, click on the item name and click "edit" on the left side menu name to make changes.  ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-07-2025-09-36-26-7640-PM.png?width=670&height=163&name=image-png-Mar-07-2025-09-36-26-7640-PM.png) This item will now be available from the "Merchandise and Services" portion of the contract.
