How to Reference Non-Contract Locations on a Merchandise Contract

This feature is useful in Merchandise/Service only Contracts

In webCemeteries Management, if a customer already has a contract for the property/location, and they want to purchase merchandise, you can reference the property/location on the new merchandise contract. You will not be able to add the property/location as a separate line item if it was already used on a prior contract.

Step 1

Create the contract.

Step 2

Add Merchandise/Services to the contract.

Step 3

Next to the Merchandise line, you can reference a location by clicking the drop-down menu.

Step 4

Select "Search Non-Contract Locations."

Step 5

Fill out the search fields with the property details of the location you wish to reference. Click SEARCH. You will see the property listed in the search results.

Step 6

Click the check box to the left of the non-contract property you wish to reference in the merchandise contract. Click OK in the bottom right corner.

Step 7

You will see the property referenced on the merchandise line.

Property Alert

Beside the Non-Contract Location, you will see a red triangle with a white exclamation point. If you hover over this symbol, you will see the note:

"This grave has existing ownership. Please ensure all required processes are followed."
