[Passare](https://support.webcemeteries.com/management?hsLang=en#passare) # Passare Integration Overview webCemeteries has partnered with Passare to automatically sync deceased records, events, and contacts between both systems. This integration updates records in real time, helping ensure your data stays accurate and up to date. You can also choose to link or unlink records at any time, giving you full control over what is synced. ### Getting Started To enable the Passare Integration, please email support at support@webcemeteries.com, or, click [submit a request](https://support.webcemeteries.com/kb-tickets/new?hsLang=en) on the top right corner. By default, you will land on the **Unlinked Cases** tab, which shows all active, unlinked cases. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-05-2026-01-35-10-3116-AM.png?width=1761&height=684&name=image-png-Sep-05-2026-01-35-10-3116-AM.png) You can sort cases by the **Need** status of the case. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-05-2026-01-35-38-0346-AM.png?width=1447&height=658&name=image-png-Sep-05-2026-01-35-38-0346-AM.png) Each case includes key details such as: - Decedent Name - Address - Date of Birth - Relationships - Events - Obituary - Branch - Case Status - Need Status From this screen, you can: - **Link or create** a deceased record using the ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2026-05-55-25-8686-AM.png?width=38&height=32&name=image-png-Apr-01-2026-05-55-25-8686-AM.png) button on the right - **Ignore a case** if you do not want to link it at this time by selecting the ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2026-05-55-42-6220-AM.png?width=50&height=39&name=image-png-Apr-01-2026-05-55-42-6220-AM.png) button. Ignored cases will move to the **Ignored Cases** tab. You can still return to these later and choose to link or sync them if needed. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Sep-05-2026-01-36-56-1436-AM.png?width=1742&height=516&name=image-png-Sep-05-2026-01-36-56-1436-AM.png) ### Link or Create a Deceased Record To link, or create a new deceased record from a case, select the ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2026-05-58-06-3242-AM.png?width=38&height=32&name=image-png-Apr-01-2026-05-58-06-3242-AM.png) symbol next the case: ### Step 1 ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-01-2026-06-01-58-6214-AM.png?width=670&height=450&name=image-png-Apr-01-2026-06-01-58-6214-AM.png) Select one of the following: - **Link to an existing record** (if a match is found), or - **Create a new record** using the Passare data Click **Next** to continue. ### Step 2 [Add events in Passare](https://support.passare.com/how-to-schedule-share-events-with-the-planning-center): ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2026-10-42-51-3703-PM.png?width=619&height=598&name=image-png-Apr-13-2026-10-42-51-3703-PM.png) To bring events from Passare into webCemeteries, select **Sync All Passare Events**. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-21-2026-06-40-34-7523-PM.png?width=670&height=185&name=image-png-Apr-21-2026-06-40-34-7523-PM.png) Synced events will appear in the [**Services**](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hc/en-us/articles/14478462082843-how-to-add-service-event-details-to-a-deceased-record?hsLang=en) section of the deceased record and may include: - Event name - Location or venue - Date - Start and end times If you choose not the Sync all events, you can still manually sync events in the deceased record. Click **Next** to continue. ### Step 3 [Add Family and Friends in Passare](https://support.passare.com/family-and-friends): ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2026-10-49-06-9711-PM.png?width=670&height=546&name=image-png-Apr-13-2026-10-49-06-9711-PM.png) To sync contacts associated with the decedent, select **Sync All Passare Contacts**. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-13-2026-10-52-12-3157-PM.png?width=670&height=294&name=image-png-Apr-13-2026-10-52-12-3157-PM.png) This will: - Create new [contacts](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hc/en-us/articles/5642949423387-how-to-create-crm-contacts?hsLang=en) in webCemeteries - Automatically assign their [relationship](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hc/en-us/articles/7084758827035-how-to-add-a-contact-and-or-next-of-kin-to-a-deceased-record?hsLang=en) to the decedent - Display them in the **Contacts** section of the record If you choose not the Sync all contacts, you can still manually sync them in the deceased record.
