[Contracts Module](https://support.webcemeteries.com/management?hsLang=en#contracts-module) # How to manage your Property Pricing with Inventory Items Inventory items define the base pricing for [Property Types](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hc/en-us/articles/5817892914459-how-to-add-or-update-property-types?hsLang=en) and allow you to bundle other line items like Perpetual Care or services. ### Step 1 Hover over the "Contracts" icon on the left side menu and select "[Price Catalog](https://support.webcemeteries.com/how-to-update-your-price-catalog?hsLang=en)"  ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Mar-07-2025-07-11-53-9380-PM.png?width=648&height=356&name=image-png-Mar-07-2025-07-11-53-9380-PM.png) ### Step 2 Select the "Inventory" Item type. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-10-2025-11-34-06-6316-PM.png?width=670&height=185&name=image-png-Apr-10-2025-11-34-06-6316-PM.png) ### Step 3 Select "Add Item", or, create a category, and then select "Add Item" in that category. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-10-2025-08-27-25-4500-PM.png?width=670&height=423&name=image-png-Apr-10-2025-08-27-25-4500-PM.png) ### Step 4 Lets breakdown the Item Details: ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-10-2025-08-31-26-2006-PM.png?width=670&height=284&name=image-png-Apr-10-2025-08-31-26-2006-PM.png) - **Name:** The name of the Inventory item (this will not appear on the contract). - **SKU:** Stock Keeping Unit number. - **Price:** The cost of the item for the customer. The locations with the property type that this inventory item is assigned to will inherit the Price information entered here. - **GL Code**: General Ledger Code. - **Cost**: The cost of the item for the Cemetery. - **Description:** description of the Inventory item. - Toggle whether the item is "Taxable" or "Refundable".   Enter the details, and click "Save". ### Step 5 Select the Item to see its details. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-10-2025-09-01-20-7714-PM.png?width=670&height=253&name=image-png-Apr-10-2025-09-01-20-7714-PM.png) In this step, we'll add some additional Line Items to add our [Perpetual Care (click here to learn how to set this up)](https://support.webcemeteries.com/how-to-add-or-update-perpetual-care-items?hsLang=en), and any other items or fees.  **⚠️Caution**  Any items added or effective dates changed will only be reflected in newly created contracts; existing contracts will not be updated. Under "Additional Line Items", select "Add Line Items". ### Step 6 **💡 Tip**  Items that you may want to add here are install fees, [endowment care](https://support.webcemeteries.com/how-to-add-or-update-perpetual-care-items?hsLang=en), or temporary discounts.  Select the Item Type to browse the item you want to add. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-10-2025-09-03-10-6070-PM.png?width=670&height=430&name=image-png-Apr-10-2025-09-03-10-6070-PM.png) ### Step 7 First, we'll select our Perpetual care by clicking the "Perpetual Care" type, and selecting the "Check Box" next to the item you want to add. ![](https://support.webcemeteries.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Apr-10-2025-09-07-02-6941-PM.png?width=670&height=523&name=image-png-Apr-10-2025-09-07-02-6941-PM.png) You can click "Save" here if you're done, or, if you'd like to add another item, you can continue browsing.
