How to Integrate our Public Tools to your website

You’re ready to launch Remember My Journey and make your cemetery digitally available to the public. By adding the webCemeteries search and memorial software to your website, visitors will be able to locate loved ones, view memorial pages of their loved ones, and share memories.

Here are the following steps that need to be taken:

Step 1: Get the Embed Code

Complete our form to request the embed code for the tool(s) you would like to integrate with your website. Our team will be automatically notified once the form is submitted.

Note!

Once you have been trained in Public Tools, we will send you the link to complete the form directly via email.

Step 2: Add the Code to Your Website

Our team will generate the embed code and send it to you. Once you have your embed code, paste it into the HTML of your website where you'd like the integration to appear. If your site is managed by a third-party, your developer will know how to do this. If webCemeteries manages your website, we’ll handle the installation for you!

Information!

Your website may require a specific configuration. Please consult with your website developer or IT department on how to properly implement the embed code on your website to ensure proper functionality.

Tips for a Better Family Experience

This software isn't just about making information available - they’re about creating meaningful connections for families and driving long-term engagement with your cemetery. A well-presented search and memorial experience not only serves your community but also supports your goals around visibility, revenue generation, and ongoing interaction. Here are a few tips to help you get the most out of your public tools:

  • Use clear page titles so it’s easy to find.
  • Link it in your main menu for visibility - don’t bury it deep in your site.
  • Explain how Memorial Pages work and offer guidance both in person and on the page itself.
