How to create a Work Order from an Invoice

You can setup an invoice to automatically create a Work Order, once the Invoice has been paid in full. 

 

Invoices are currently in beta. Please note that functionality may change, and issues or inaccuracies may occur as we continue to develop this feature. Please review all invoice data carefully before use. We welcome your feedback as we continue to improve.

Step 1

Create and fill in the details of your invoice.

Step 2

Select "Work Order" > "Create when Paid in Full" on the left.

Step 3

Enter the details of the Work Order, and press "Set".

  • You can see the details of the Work Order that will be created at the bottom.

  • You can remove the Work Order to be created by selecting the Trash bin Icon.

Step 4

Save the Invoice to create it.

Step 5

Once created, the Invoice will need to be Paid in Full before the Work Order will be created. Apply payments to the invoice, and once fully paid, the Work Order will be created.

  • You will see the link to the created Work Order in the invoice at the bottom.

  • In the Work Order, you'll see the details that you entered in Step 3. Any property that you linked to the Invoice will be added as a Resource to the Work Order, and you will see the Invoice information under the Resources Section:
