How to Mark a Deceased Record as Confidential
Have you received instructions from a family member of the deceased that they do not want their loved one to display publicly on your website's burial search or memorial pages? If so, there is a quick and easy way to remove the deceased from all public facing tools, the burial search, memorial pages and mobile app. Follow this How to Article to learn how to make a deceased confidential.
Step 1
Log into webCemeteries Management.

Click on the name of the deceased to open the deceased pages.
Step 4
Near the profile photo of the deceased, there is a toggle that says "Confidential." The default position for this toggle is off, which means that the deceased record will display publicly. Toggle this on to mark the record "Confidential." The toggle will shift from the right to the left, and will shift from gray to orange.
Step 5
Make sure to click the save button in the bottom right corner of the page in order to save these changes.
