How to Integrate Mobile App into your Website

If you are currently licensing a public mobile app for your families and cemetery visitors to use while visiting your cemetery, this How to Guide will walk you through how to integrate an app download button into your website. Adding this button will allow users to easily find and download your mobile app to their mobile device.

Step 1

Reach out to your website developer to let them know that you would like to place an app download button on your website. We recommend placing the button on the home page of your website in a spot that will be easily located by cemetery visitors.

Step 2

In the marketing kit provided to you, locate the code file with "website integration button" included in the name. Share this code file with your website developer. The code you receive should look similar to this, but should contain your unique mobile app URL:

Step 3

Copy and paste the code into the spot on the site that you would like the button to appear. (This step may vary depending on the type of website you have.) You may also want to add some text content above the button. We would recommend something like this: "We've created an easy way for you to locate loved ones and tour our landmarks from your phone! Click here to download our mobile app."

Step 4

Preview the button on your site if possible to ensure that you like the button. The button we are providing in the code looks like this:

Step 5

Publish the button and site visitors can easily download your mobile app to their devices right away!

If you prefer not to use the button that we've provided, your website developer may be able to create an alternate button with custom styling. To have them do so, simply open the website integration button code we provided for your cemetery and have them use the first URL found near the beginning of the line of code. An example of where you can find your unique mobile app URL is shown highlighted in the screenshot below.
