How to Add a New Location
Contact us for Mapping Your New Location
If you have a new location to add to your cemetery, and you want this location mapped, please contact us at support@webcemeteries.com with any reference material attached (maps/blueprints/etc).
Step 1
Log into webCemeteries Management.
Step 2
Hover over "Locations" on the left side menu and click "Search Locations".
Step 3
Click the bright orange plus sign.
Step 4
Select the Section from the drop down menu or start typing the name of the new section that you would like to add.
Step 5
Enter the applicable location information in the available fields. Note that the fields with the asterisk ( * ) are required fields.
Step 6
It is highly recommended that you create graves/burial rights for the location that you are adding. If graves are not added in bulk during this step, you will need to enter them one by one later on. To create graves/burial rights, enter the number of graves that you'd like to create in the "Number of Graves" field. It is also recommended that if you are adding graves/burial rights you set the "Initial Grave Status" from the drop down menu. You can also start your grave numbering with any number by entering a number into the "Start Grave Numbering At" field.
Step 7
You must enter the number of graves per row. This will not create graves but it will set the layout view on the locations page to display that number of graves per row. Don’t forget to enter any pricing or monument restrictions for the location.
Step 8
Once you have entered your detailed information, the “Create Location” button will shift from grayed out to color. Click "Create Location” located in the bottom middle of the page to finalize creating your new location.
Graves Will Be Added to Location
Please note that graves will still need to be added to the location you just created. As soon as you create the location you will see the location page.
Step 9
Click "Add New Grave" to start adding burial rights/graves. Enter the grave number, grave alpha (if you have letters), grave status. and number of interments per grave (e.g. add “2” if it’s a double grave). Once you have all the information added, click "Create."
Step 10
Repeat this process to add the rest of the new burial rights/graves to the location.
